Quote
With your eyes, you see the shells!
With your ears, you hear the voices!
With your nose, you smell the scent!
With your mouth, you taste the aroma!
With your skin, you feel emotions!
Open all your senses!
The senses are the keys to your heart!
Courageously open your heart!
For only with the heart do you recognize the person.
Andrea Redmann
Inner Worlds of Experience
In the last lesson, we dealt with outward perception. This time it is about inward perception. We reconstruct the world perceived through our senses internally once again. This creates inner images, sounds, and feelings. These inner worlds of experience are important because they govern our thinking, feeling, and behavior.
Exercise for this week
a) Look at an object, e.g., a candle or a butterfly. Close your eyes and imagine this object. Open your eyes again to look at the object more closely. Then close your eyes again to further perfect your inner image. Practice this with other objects. This way, you learn to deal with inner images.
b) Record your voice on a cassette or a dictation device or on your PC and listen to it. How does your own voice sound? Then repeat your voice internally. Have you captured volume, rhythm, tone, and speaking speed?
c) How does your favorite song sound? Have you stored this information and can you now recall it to listen to your favorite song whenever you want – without using a technical device?
d) Touch your partner or a friend. Then close your eyes and try to feel the sensation again.
e) How does it feel when you jump into cool water on a hot summer day? Now feel this sensation!
The better you manage to perform these exercises, the better you can later work with the extremely effective NLP change techniques. Therefore, practice as long as it takes until it becomes easy for you.

Metaphor of the Week
The Butterfly
A young, spiky caterpillar dreamed of being beautiful and free. But the other caterpillars around her constantly told her: One is what one is. We must accept ourselves as we are. With skin and hair. What counts are only facts. Everything else is just empty daydreaming! No one can simply shed their skin!
The young caterpillar could not believe this and rather believed in her dreams and wishes. When the old caterpillars once again wanted to talk the young one out of her fantasies, suddenly a beautiful butterfly flew by them...

Of course, we also offer real seminars with personal encounters. This starts with our free NLP Evening Seminars in various cities in Germany and goes up to complete, twenty-day trainings: Practitioner, Master, Trainer and Coach.
