Inner Voice
Last week you found a guide under the link on how to free yourself from disturbing images. Today you will learn how to turn off limiting inner voices. Give it a try – you will be surprised by the success!
Often it is not just inner images that bother us, but even more persistently inner voices. These can be voices from critical conversations we have had, which may have been embarrassing or uncomfortable – and now we constantly hear a certain sentence inside and get annoyed that we allowed ourselves to be subjected to this audacity or had to listen to it. It could also be an inner voice that we have been carrying with us for years, telling us: "Hey, you idiot, you'll never make it!" – or sabotaging us in other ways.
Most people have a "little man in their ear" who constantly criticizes them. They hear this voice and let it demotivate them. However, it is our right to make mistakes. Always strive to give your best in every moment, then you should not waste another minute thinking about your mistakes.
What can you do when the negative voice appears again? If you find that you are not in life-threatening danger, you can use the techniques listed below to regain a positive self-esteem.
Increase speed
Increase speed: Listen again to the original voice and simply make it faster – perhaps as fast as when transferring a cassette.
Decrease speed: This time let the voice become very slow. Slower and slower, until the voice is really dragging.
Distort voices: Listen for a moment to the voice. Then imagine Mickey Mouse is speaking to you – and hear the same words, but in a Mickey Mouse voice.
Sing songs
Now choose a funny melody, e.g. "Maya the Bee", "Baloo the Bear" or "The Funny Woodcutter Boys" and sing the original words to this melody. Sing lively for a few minutes and move a bit to it. No inner voice can resist this – it loses its emotional negative power.
More techniques
Change the type of voice: Now imagine the voice is still saying the same thing, but with a really sexy voice.
Change the location: Now change the location of the voice. Listen to the voice – where is it coming from? From the head or from outside, from the front or from the back, from below or from above? Now simply move the voice to another place. Try out some variations.
