To dream means to sense the blue sky behind the clouds.
The Resource Circle
This time it’s about an exercise where a good state can be anchored. This can then be used to experience a less pleasant situation differently. Take some time the first time and follow the instructions step by step somewhere quiet. In the following days, you can visualize your Resource Circle in front of you while on the go, e.g., on the street, on the way to the restroom, etc., and let it build you up.
- Visualize a circle on the ground in front of you. Choose a nice color for the circle and come up with a positive word that will serve as an anchor (e.g., super, great, awesome, etc.).
- Now choose a positive and powerful state.
- Internally experience this state. Ask yourself: What did I see? What did I hear? What did I feel? And immerse yourself completely in this state.
- Anchor this state with a touch or movement, e.g., by making a fist.
- Maintain the state internally, see the colored Resource Circle in front of you, take a deep breath, say your secret word, and step into the circle.
- Enjoy the state and then step out again.
- Repeat these steps with other states as often as you like.
- Then find a difficult situation and step into the circle with the image of the difficult situation, say your magic word, and take a deep breath.
- Consider how your perception of the situation has changed.

Metaphor of the Week
The Wizard
The Mullah's favorite dish was "Fesenjan" - a dish made with nuts. His wife had promised him the dish, and now the Mullah wanted to get the nuts from the nut jar.
He reached deep into the jar and grabbed as many nuts as he could. But when he wanted to pull his arm out, he couldn't. No matter how hard he pulled and tugged, the jar wouldn't release his arm.
He lamented and cursed in a way that a Mullah shouldn't, but nothing helped. Even his wife pulled with all her might on the jar, but she couldn't achieve anything either.
So the neighbors were called for help, but they only watched the scene with curiosity. However, one of them stepped forward and looked closely at the situation.
He asked the Mullah how it had come to this, and the Mullah tearfully recounted the incident.
Then the neighbor said:
“I can help you. But you must do exactly what I tell you.”
The Mullah replied:
“I will do anything if only I am helped.”
The neighbor first instructed the Mullah to push his arm back into the jar. The Mullah found this very strange, as he wanted to get his hand out of the jar, not push it further in. But he did as he was told.
Then the neighbor said the Mullah should let go of the nuts. The Mullah was annoyed because he wanted the nuts for his favorite dish. Reluctantly, he did what the neighbor asked.
“And now make your hand very narrow and pull it out.”
The Mullah did it and was free. But he was not satisfied.
“I am now freed from the jar, but I have no nuts!”
Then the neighbor took the jar, tipped it over, and let as many nuts roll out as the Mullah needed. The Mullah stood there with wide-open eyes and said:
“Tell me, are you a wizard?”
