NLP Podcast 75: Marian Zefferer, new Landsiedel NLP partner in Austria

Marian Zefferer has long been known at Landsiedel, through an internship during his psychology studies, through various NLP seminars with us up to trainer, and now as the new Landsiedel NLP partner in Austria.

His Story – How Did Marian Come to NLP and Landsiedel?

At 14, Marian's fascination with NLP began with the book: “A New Life in 7 Days” by Paul McKenna.

Coaching topics

Some time later, he booked his first hypnosis seminar at another institute, but NLP didn't let him go. He received the recommendation: “Hey, you have to go to Stephan.” And it was clear to everyone that Stephan in relation to NLP could only be Stephan Landsiedel. Also, through research on the internet, Marian found Stephan Landsiedel, who was at the top of Google search results. Marian booked the seminar NLP in a Week, which fascinated him immediately.
“What I like about NLP is that it is pragmatic, it gets you into action. You can do a whole psychology degree and still feel 0 better afterward. When you do an NLP training, you are automatically transformed,” says Marian.
His first pillar in self-employment was rhetoric because he loved that you can inspire many people with language. Gandhi and Martin Luther King fascinated him. He also wanted to inspire people through language.
Today, he is fascinated by NLP and especially the Art of Self-Influence. “How can I become more fulfilled?” this question drives him. Therefore, Marian complements our vision very well.

NLP and Science

According to Marian, science has a lobby, especially in health areas. For many, science is the new religion. However, studies must also be viewed with caution. Often, only studies that were successful are published. The 99 out of 100 studies that were unsuccessful often remain in the drawer.
Stephan adds a note that we at Landsiedel mention some scientific studies – that we find good – in our Blog NLP Research .
Marian: “More important than studies in NLP is changing the thinking in society, being a role model, not hiding. If you have achieved success with NLP, you should name it and not hide. NLP is often used in companies, but unfortunately not under this name.
NLP is a mix of various directions: hypnosis, gestalt therapy, family therapy, systemic approaches, conversation techniques. NLP is often applied but is called something else for positioning reasons. When Stephan asks Marian where he sees the future of humanity, what he would wish for, he replies: “More collaboration instead of competition, more understanding for other people, for other existences, and especially for the people we do not understand well, for those we initially cannot stand.”

5 Tips from Marian to Live More Fulfilled:

  1. Question of Perspective: You can compare yourself with the most beautiful, richest, and best people in the world and then feel bad about yourself.
Or you can compare yourself with someone who has to think about what to eat for dinner tonight. And in relation to these people, we are doing extremely well. Most of us have a roof over our heads, internet access, food, and drink. The Power of Questions: If you are feeling bad or have a big problem, then ask yourself the following questions 2-4 times: What opportunity arises from this? Or what are 3 positive things about the problematic situation? After that, you will already feel better.
  2. Finding the Meaning of Life. To be happy, it helps to find out why you are in the world. If you have an answer to that, you can plan your life more meaningfully. If you have experiences that inspire you or your fellow human beings, you are on the right path. The meaning of life is that life has a meaning. For every person, something different is MEANingful.
Some need a crisis to develop further or to wake up, while others can do it faster, for example, with NLP.
“Why not ask different people what the meaning of their life is?” Marian adds.
  3. Educate Yourself, through seminars, books (The Owner’s Manual for the Brain by Pierce Howard, background reading – so rather a standard work), audiobooks, podcasts
  4. Establish Good Rituals and practice: mindfulness, success, health – depending on what is currently needed. Marian also has a brand new podcast in which he interviews successful people about their life stories. On iTunes under the name: “Personal Development Through Life Stories” can be found.

If you would like to meet Marian Zefferer personally, this is currently possible at our next Landsiedel NLP Congress 2018 in Zeilitzheim, with a lecture on the topic “Mind Hacks for a More Fulfilled Life.” NLP evening seminars, webinars, and other NLP events with him are in planning – stay tuned :-).
