Everyone knows that voice in their head that sometimes says: "You can't do it!" or "You are not capable!". But how do such thoughts affect our lives? The answer is simple: Such negative beliefs limit us and set boundaries. For example, a Harvard study found that by the age of 18, we hear 148,000 negative suggestions that restrict our actions.
Often, we only overcome our own limitations by going through a crisis in life - a wake-up call that can lead us to what is within us. But why don't we free ourselves from limiting thoughts before the crisis?
Beliefs
The so-called are a major topic in NLP, as can be seen from the variety of formats dedicated to belief work. The graphic shows the four pillars on which our beliefs are based. Beliefs are inner convictions that are learned through past experiences or shaped by parental upbringing. These inner convictions possess immense power and can achieve extraordinary things. In a study, 100 people who were terminally ill but survived were examined. It was investigated what these 100 people had in common. The result is astonishing: Each of these 100 individuals firmly believed that they could become healthy. This illustrates how powerful the thoughts in our heads can be. What beliefs do you have?
