NLP Podcast 165: Enneagram
“I see something that you do not see.”

“The Enneagram has made me a more peaceful person.”, says Kirstin Kaul.

You stand with a flashlight in a dark room. The beam of light hits a rundown desk piled high with dusty file folders. 'That's quite a lot of work!' you think. Then your friend enters the room, follows your gaze to the beam of light, and exclaims, 'Look at that beautiful antique wooden table on which all that junk is lying over there.'

How can the perception of the same reality be so different? Why do some people see dusty file folders while others enjoy the beautiful things in life?

Kirstin Kaul works with a very old wisdom model that helps to better understand such perceptual differences between you and your environment. When her life experiences a radical turning point due to burnout ten years ago, she is still working as an employee in the HR department. Subsequently, she frees herself from the recurring daily grind, becomes self-employed as a coach for integral life management and burnout. She finds her personal light switch, the “Enneagram.” The Enneagram, with its nine types, is a successful personality model that has become just as relevant in the psychological field as in the business sector or in spiritual experiences. For Kirstin personally, the Enneagram is a powerful tool that has profoundly changed and illuminated her life.

We are pleased that Kirstin is a guest on Stephan's podcast. In this episode, she explains the personality types contained in the Enneagram and what motivation underlies her actions. She sheds light on questions about the origin of the Enneagram and knows which people tend to listen to their gut feeling rather than their intellect.

In this episode, she takes a look with you at how to recognize the different types of the Enneagram and what is important to these people. You will see what this mystically looking symbol has to do with NLP and why both areas complement each other so well.

Kirstin will conduct two free introductory workshops on the Enneagram in the near future (on 05.05 and 17.05.2022) and from the end of May she will conduct a Enneagram training over five evenings at Landsiedel.
