NLP Podcast 164: Like a Rock 'N Roll Concert
'One is not born a trainer; one is made a trainer,' says Stephan.
Your audience stands up, cheers, claps, some spectators jump in the air. You are on stage and wide awake. Your first live performance, a complete success.
The lights in the hall were dimmed during your presentation. The spotlight was only on you and you saw into a darkened hall. Now colorful light beams fly over the crowd, flooding the mass in all the colors of the rainbow. You can now see all your listeners, up to the last row, and you are amazed again at how many people have come tonight to listen to you. Cheers, beaming faces, and tears of joy come at you like a wave and hit you with full force. The atmosphere is like that of a rock concert.
You wouldn't have expected it to go this well. You are full of adrenaline and radiate, bouncing along with the crowd, being a part of it.
Suddenly, a stream of sparkling confetti rains down on you. Music blares loudly from the speakers at the edge of the hall and flows through the room, along with the wave of enthusiasm and confidence that floods your audience. The hall is charged with positive energy. Your assistant rushes to you on stage, says a few words of thanks through the microphone, and then asks you:
“That was great, this liveliness, the boost of motivation you have given us today. What actually makes a good trainer?” She holds the microphone out to you and for the first time tonight, you don't know what to answer.
Like every second Tuesday of the month, we are looking forward to the interview with Stephan and Ralf Stumpf again today. The two also ask themselves what makes a good trainer. Ralf is Stephan's good friend and training colleague. He works in Berlin as an NLP trainer and coach. For the former church musician, leading seminars has always been a stage event, and he tells you in this episode how to touch your audience's hearts. Stephan and Ralf take you on an adventure journey to the greatest luminaries of the stage world. They are in search of their personal strengths that make them so unforgettable.
Do you want to know how Stephan met Tony Robbins and what success recipe Ralf recommends for a successful stage show? And why was Vera Birkenbihl so successful, despite dreadful overhead projector sketches?
Listen to this episode and get valuable tips that will make your next seminar a successful rock 'n' roll concert – if that's what you want.
Enjoy listening!
