NLP-Podcast 112: NLP with Nandana and Karl Nielsen

Stephan Landsiedel interviews Nandana and Karl Nielsen in this podcast episode. They are the founders of the "NLP & Coaching Institute Berlin" and the associations IN and ICI ("The International Association of NLP Institutes" and "The International Association of Coaching Institutes"). As diploma sociologists and diploma psychologists, they fully engage in their lives as NLP practitioners. The IN and ICI currently have 6200 members from 70 countries and are considered a global NLP community. This November, the NLP World Congress organized by the IN will take place again. The IN also advises the Universidad Central de Nicaragua (UCN) on the implementation of international distance learning programs in psychology with a focus on NLP and coaching, where Nandana and Karl Nielsen also obtained their Prof. (UCN) and Dr. (UCN) titles. Research results on the effectiveness of NLP and coaching are generated as part of MA and Dr./Ph.D. degrees. Therefore, a classic psychology degree with NLP content can be pursued. The central aim of the "IN" is to establish NLP on a scientific basis. In the podcast episode, Nananda Nielsen shares how NLP has changed her life. Whether it's maintaining clarity in situations where one would otherwise feel overwhelmed or quickly shifting into a different state in difficult moments – NLP has surpassed everything else with its techniques. According to Nananda and Karl Nielsen, NLP has broken the boundaries of classical psychology and opened new horizons.

Karl Nielsen has been intensively engaged with the topic of "Mindfulness" and has been inspired by Jon Kabat-Zinn's mindfulness programs, for example. In the future, Karl Nielsen wants to convey and pass on NLP on a spiritual level: "The person goes within themselves. They connect with their inner self and dissolve beliefs from there. This happens in a gentle spiritual way. They engage with the question of what the universe wants from them." "Coaching is not always about better, faster, further.
