Physiological States

Under this link, you can learn more about the states that influence our lives. Just try it out – you can actually feel better!

States 01

Our behavior depends on our states. These, in turn, depend on our physiology. Change your inner representations and your body posture – by doing so, you change your states and at the same time your behavior. If you want to show enthusiastic behavior, then also take the Physiology of an Enthusiast one: Laugh, shout, dance, clap – and you will experience how you actually feel unstoppable.

States 02

I don't know how you feel, but I love experiencing new states over and over again. I enjoy dancing into ecstasy, overflowing with joy – and at the same time, I consciously allow myself to feel sadness when it is there. This way, I experience the full range of human emotions. Try it out: Dance, move, stretch your arms up – and feel how your state changes immediately.

States 03

People who move physically are also mentally agile and more creative. When our physiology influences our thoughts, an open body posture also creates an open mindset. Try something new: Sports, Tai Chi, an old dance, or just jump rope like in the past – movement creates energy and new ideas.

States 04

Many people are trapped in the daily grind. Their movements and feelings follow narrow paths. Try to experience a greater variety of emotional states for a few days: Be passionate, euphoric, enthusiastic – to your limits!

States 05

Pay attention to your movements in the near future: Are they slow, energetic, dynamic, or fluid? Observe how your feelings change when you change your posture. Consciously adopt the body postures that are typical for joy, enthusiasm, or fear – and feel what that does to you.

States 06

If you want to feel good, act as if you feel good: Stand upright, breathe freely, smile. Observe how the body postures of other people reflect their feelings. Use Pacing and Leading, to build rapport – match yourself to understand, and then lead to stimulate positive changes.

Through our physiology, we influence the biochemical and electrical processes of the body – even the immune system reacts to it. Some psychological complaints can be alleviated better through movement than through therapy. A simple but effective method is Laughter: Humor strengthens the immune system, improves the state, and makes life easier.
