NLP and Self-Efficacy
Here you will learn how to promote your self-efficacy. The concept of self-efficacy can be derived from a concept by Albert Bandura. Bandura speaks of self-efficacy, that is, of one's own effectiveness, efficiency, or performance capability. Self-efficacy refers to the degree to which one believes in one's ability to successfully achieve their goals, actions, and expectations. A person who consistently believes in themselves and is firmly convinced that they will achieve their goals has a high level of self-efficacy.
Promote self-efficacy with NLP
Promoting self-efficacy with NLP is like going on a journey – a journey to yourself and your own self-efficacy. NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming and is a method with which you can improve your communication and develop personally. With NLP, you enhance your self-efficacy by training your perception of yourself and your environment. This gives you greater awareness of your entire surroundings, which is helpful both in private and professional life.
Do you want to promote your self-efficacy? Then NLP is just right for you. Our trained NLP trainers will help you formulate your own goals and realize them. Through NLP, you will learn what is important for focused and self-directed goal pursuit and how to meet your expectations for your own goals. With NLP, you will automatically promote your self-efficacy.
Learning self-efficacy
Through the methods of NLP, you can learn your own self-efficacy. In our NLP trainings, you will learn how to sharpen all your senses and unleash your full potential. You can learn self-efficacy by better perceiving your own self and your environment, as well as by pursuing your goals according to specific strategies. Learning self-efficacy also means connecting with your creativity, your dreams, and visions. You will learn to ask yourself what exactly you want to achieve and, above all, how you can achieve it. Believing in your own dreams and visions – you will be able to do this when you promote your self-efficacy with NLP.
Self-efficacy expectation
The concept of self-efficacy expectation was also developed by Albert Bandura. Bandura refers to self-efficacy expectation as perceived self-efficacy. This concept of self-efficacy expectation builds on the concept of self-expectation. Self-efficacy expectation means not only that the person believes in themselves and their own goals but also that the expected goals must be fulfilled. Through self-efficacy expectation, one expects of oneself that one has all the necessary prerequisites and thus successfully fulfills all self-imposed and self-directed expectations.
Self-efficacy and resilience
The concept of self-efficacy and self-efficacy expectation developed by Bandura is also related to what is known as resilience. Resilience describes a person's ability to bounce back from pressure and crisis situations, to remain focused and positive, and to be confident and calm. The term resilience became well-known primarily through the resilience research of American psychologist Emmy Werner. A person with a high ability for resilience must necessarily believe in their own goals – thus, high self-efficacy also leads to a high ability for resilience and vice versa.
