Core Transformation
Based on the book “Core Transformation: Reaching the Wellspring Within” by Connirae and Tamara Andreas.
“A method that helps you reach states in five minutes for which others meditate on mountains for years!”
The Core Transformation process is about identifying behaviors, feelings, and reactions that you don’t like about yourself and using them as a gateway for a deep and uplifting inner journey into the core of your being.
This process can be used to transform self-destructive behaviors, emotions, or reactions that cause serious life challenges.
Once you’ve practiced the process several times, you’ll develop trust that by going to your innermost center, you can discover a nature that transcends anything we usually consider positive.
What Is the Core Self?
I live from my Core Self when:
- I experience wholeness, inner peace, well-being, love, and aliveness;
- I am fully grounded and centered in my body;
- I am fully aware of my body and emotions;
- I perceive the world clearly;
- I know what I want;
- I act according to my values;
- I act effortlessly for my own good while respecting others and their interests;
- I have a positive sense of self;
- I am aware of who I am — not just what I do, feel, or have;
- I am conscious of my resources and feel capable of choosing how I feel and act.
The Five Core States
- Being
- Inner Peace
- Love
- Okayness
- Oneness

Overview: Ten Steps to Core Transformation
Step 1
Select a part to work with: Acknowledge it as part of you and welcome it.
Step 2
Discover the intention or first desired outcome: Ask the part, “What do you want?”
Step 3
Discover the outcome chain: “When you have fully achieved [previous outcome], what do you want through that that’s even more important?” (Repeat as needed.)
Step 4
The Core State: Reach the inner source and take a moment to experience it fully.
Step 5
Revisit the outcome chain through the Core State.
- General: “If you begin with [Core State] as a way of being, how does this change things?”
- Specific: “How does the [Core State] transform or enrich the [desired outcome]?”
- Contextual: “How does the [Core State] change your experience of [specific context]?”
Step 6
Allow the part to mature and grow up through time with the Core State present in every moment.
Step 7
Integrate the part into your body — let it flow through you so that the Core State fills every cell.
Step 8
Review the outcome chain again through the integrated part.
Step 9
Check for opposing parts: “Is there any part of me that objects to having [Core State] as a way of being?”
Step 10
Generalize through the timeline.
- Visualize moving through your past while radiating the Core State through every experience.
- Then move forward into the future with that same Core State present.
- Repeat several times, each time faster.
