Important People in NLP

The founders of NLP Richard Bandler and John Grinder analyzed and modeled personalities in family and Gestalt therapy and other therapies. Tony Robbins is probably the motivation trainer who has increased the awareness of NLP the most in the last 20 years. Virginia Satir is one of the best known models of the two founders and comes from family therapy. Milton Erickson, one of the most famous hypnotherapists of the 20th century was also modeled by Richard Bandler and John Grinder. Bert Hellinger also shaped the image of NLP in so far that after his methodology became known, many NLP training centers adapted his systemic approach. Today Gunther Schmidt is invited to many NLP congresses as a speaker, because his hypno-systemic approach of the Heidelberg School complements NLP beautifully.
